Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using tools like Talend or Python to prepare data for analysis.
  • Create interactive dashboards and reports utilizing Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or other visualization tools to communicate insights effectively.
  • Support the development of data models and visualizations that facilitate business analysis and decision-making.
  • Participate in Agile project management practices, including sprint planning and stand-up meetings, to ensure timely delivery of tasks.
  • Contribute to the documentation of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) processes and project workflows using tools like Visio.
  • Assist in performing analysis on linked data sources and conducting business analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support the team in database design activities and optimize SQL queries for performance enhancement.
  • Gain exposure to scripting languages such as R, VBA, Bash (Unix shell), and Python for automating data workflows.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Proficiency in SQL for querying databases such as Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.
  • Experience with data visualization tools including Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • Familiarity with ETL processes and tools like Talend or scripting languages such as Python or R.
  • Knowledge of database design principles and best practices.
