Job Responsibilities

As a Virtual Physician Assistant at One Medical, you’ll be expected to:

  • Conduct tele-health consultations via phone, video, and secure messaging.
  • Follow up with patients post-consultation via email or virtual check-ins.
  • Participate in weekly Clinical Rounds to stay updated and continue learning.
  • Collaborate with teammates during daily virtual huddles.
  • Use your clinical training to provide exceptional and personalized care.


This role is full-time, with a minimum requirement of 32 hours per week. You must also be open to working evenings and weekends, including every other Saturday and Sunday.


Required Qualifications

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Graduation from an accredited PA program and national certification.
  • Active license in Washington, D.C., with a willingness to acquire licenses in other states if necessary.

At least 2 years of clinical experience within the last five years:

  • Either in outpatient primary care OR
  • In urgent care/emergency medicine setting.
  • Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and rotating shifts.
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for human-centered care.

Salary and Compensation

One Medical is committed to fair and transparent compensation. For this virtual PA role, the base salary ranges from $56.50 to $63.00 per hour. However, total compensation may vary depending on experience, skills, and geographic location. Additional benefits such as stock options and bonus packages may also be included.
